Announcement Post Maker: what it does
New opening hours, a move, a new service, a holiday closure: some posts just need to say one thing clearly. This announcement post maker is text first. A small label (“Announcement”, “Update”, “Now open”) sits above a big headline, then a line of detail, the date and a button. A thick ring in your brand colour runs off the top corner and frames a photo of your shop, team or product, or holds a soft colour fill if you have no photo. A long headline shrinks rather than running into the ring. Download every size at once; the post is drawn in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- Add your photo: drop it on the preview, paste it, or tap “Add photo”. Optionally add your logo.
- Type a headline, an optional subline, the button text and your brand name.
- Pick a layout, a size and an accent colour. Click the photo to choose what stays in frame.
- Download the image, or every size as one ZIP.

Tips
- Say the news in the headline, not “Big news!”: “We’re moving to Main Street” tells people everything at a glance.
- Use the “When” line for the date or time, so it stands out from the rest of the text.
- Keep the button to what people should do next: “See the new address”, “Book now”, “Read more”.
- No photo? Leave it out: the ring is filled with a soft tint of your colour.
- Pin the post to the top of your profile while the news is fresh.
Frequently asked questions
What should a business announcement post include?
What is changing, when it happens and what people should do about it. Put the change in the headline, the date in the “When” line and the next step on the button. Details go in the caption.
Can I make it without a photo?
Yes. Without a photo the ring holds a soft fill of your accent colour. You can also switch Background to “Accent colour” in Extras to hide a photo you added.
What happens with a long headline?
It shrinks step by step to stay below the ring, and only ends with “…” if it still doesn’t fit at the smallest size. Shorter headlines read better on a phone.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The post is drawn by your browser on your device. Your photo and text never leave it.
