Event Poster Maker: what it does

An event post has to answer three questions at a glance: what, when and where. This event poster maker puts the event name in large type on your photo, the date, time and place on two short lines underneath, a badge such as “This Saturday” or “Free entry”, and a button with the next step. Download it in the feed sizes and as a 9:16 story with room for the app’s buttons, all from one design. It is made in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.

How to use it

  1. Add your photo: drop it on the preview, paste it, or tap “Add photo”. Optionally add your logo.
  2. Type a headline, an optional subline, the button text and your brand name.
  3. Pick a layout, a size and an accent colour. Click the photo to choose what stays in frame.
  4. Download the image, or every size as one ZIP.

Tips

  • Write the date with the weekday (“Saturday 14 June”): people plan by day of the week.
  • Keep the place short and specific, like a gate, a floor or a landmark.
  • Post the story version a day before and on the day itself, with the badge changed to “Tomorrow” and “Today”.
  • Use a photo from a past event: real people look more inviting than graphics.
  • Put the booking link in your caption or bio, and use the button for the action, like “Book now” or “Free entry”.

Frequently asked questions

What should an event poster include?

The event name, the date with the weekday, the time, the place, and what to do next (book, register, just come). This tool has a field for each: headline, the two subline lines, the button and the badge.

What size is an event post for Instagram?

1080 × 1350 (4:5) or 1080 × 1440 (3:4) for the feed and 1080 × 1920 for Stories. Download every size at once with the ZIP button.

Can I print it?

The images are made for screens at 1080 pixels wide. They print fine up to about A5; for big posters use a design at print resolution.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The poster is drawn by your browser on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
