Instagram Story Maker: what it does
Turn a photo into a Story in a few clicks: add a headline, a short message and your logo, and the story is laid out at 1080 × 1920 with the text kept clear of the edges. Switch on the safe-zone guides to see where Instagram draws its profile name, reply box and buttons, so nothing important is covered. The same image works for Facebook Stories, WhatsApp Status and TikTok.
How to use it
- Add your photo: drop it on the preview, paste it, or tap “Add photo”. Optionally add your logo.
- Type a headline, an optional subline, the button text and your brand name.
- Pick a layout, a size and an accent colour. Click the photo to choose what stays in frame.
- Download the image, or every size as one ZIP.
Tips
- Turn on “Show where story apps put their buttons” to check the top and bottom of your story before you post.
- Stories are watched for a second or two: one short line and a clear call to action, like “Tap to shop” or “Reply to book”.
- Use the Colour card layout when the photo is busy; Glass when you want more of the photo to show.
- Add a link sticker in Instagram after you upload: the button in the image tells people where to tap.
Frequently asked questions
What size is an Instagram Story?
1080 × 1920 pixels (9:16). The same size works for Reels covers, Facebook Stories, WhatsApp Status and TikTok.
What are the safe zones?
Instagram draws your profile name at the top of a story and the reply box and buttons at the bottom. The guides show those areas (about 250 px at the top and 340 px at the bottom) so you can keep text out of them. They are only in the preview, never in the download.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The story is made by your own browser, on your device.
Is there a watermark?
No. It is free, with no watermark and no sign-up.
