PNG to PDF: what it does

Combine PNG screenshots, diagrams, certificates or scanned pages into one PDF. Drop the files, drag them into order and choose a page size: A4 or Letter for documents, or “Same as image” to keep every screenshot at its exact size with no borders. Transparent parts of a PNG become white, like paper, so graphics and logos print cleanly. Because PNG is a lossless format, each image is converted to a high-quality JPG inside the PDF, which keeps the file small; choose “Smaller file” to shrink it further for email. Everything happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Drop your images into the box, paste them, or tap to choose them from your phone. Add as many as you need.
  2. Drag the thumbnails into order (or use the arrows), and rotate any image that is sideways.
  3. Choose the page size, orientation, margin and quality. “Original” keeps JPG photos untouched.
  4. Click “Create PDF”. The PDF downloads straight away, with no print window.

Tips

  • Screenshots: choose “Same as image” and margin “None” for a PDF that looks exactly like your screen.
  • Certificates and designs: choose A4 or Letter, landscape, “Fit”, with a small margin for printing.
  • Paste screenshots straight from the clipboard (Ctrl+V / Cmd+V): no need to save them as files first.
  • Text in screenshots stays sharp with “Original” quality. Use “Smaller file” only when a size limit forces you to.

Frequently asked questions

Does converting PNG to PDF reduce quality?

Barely. With “Original” quality, each PNG is converted at full resolution to a JPG at 92% quality, which looks the same to the eye, including text. If you need pixel-perfect lossless pages, keep the PNG files as well.

What happens to the transparent background?

It becomes white, like a sheet of paper. That is what you want for printing and for most document uploads.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.

Can I mix PNG and JPG files in one PDF?

Yes. Add any mix of PNG, JPG, WebP and GIF images; each becomes a page in the order you set.

Is it free?

Yes, with no watermark, no sign-up and no limit on files or PDFs.
