About the Text to PDF Converter

Paste or type your text, add a title, and get a PDF that looks designed rather than printed from a text editor: a cover page, a running header, page numbers and a calm editorial layout. You see the real pages as you type, with page breaks exactly where they will be in the PDF. The PDF is made by your own browser, so the text stays selectable and searchable, and nothing is uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Paste or type your text, or open a .txt or .md file. Add a title, subtitle, author and date if you like.
  2. Choose a template, font, colours, paper size and orientation. The preview shows the real pages as you type.
  3. Click “Download PDF”. Your browser’s print window opens.
  4. Choose “Save as PDF” as the destination and save. The text stays selectable in the PDF.

Tips

  • Put a blank line between paragraphs. Single line breaks are kept as they are, so pasted text keeps its shape.
  • Start lines with ## to add section headings: they make long documents easier to scan, and a heading is never left alone at the bottom of a page.
  • Type [page break] on its own line to start a chapter or appendix on a new page.
  • Turn off the cover page for short notes and letters; keep it for reports, proposals and handouts.
  • On a phone, tap Download PDF, then choose “Save as PDF” (Android) or Share → Save to Files (iPhone) in the print window.

Frequently asked questions

Is my text uploaded?

No. The pages are laid out and saved as a PDF by your own browser. Your text never leaves your device, and the draft is kept only in this browser so it survives a refresh.

Why does a print window open?

That is how your browser saves a real vector PDF: text stays sharp and selectable, the fonts are embedded, and the file is small. Choose “Save as PDF” as the destination (it is usually the default).

Can I make a PDF on my phone?

Yes. On Android, tap Download PDF and choose “Save as PDF” as the printer. On iPhone, tap Download PDF, then the Share button in the print preview and “Save to Files”.

Does it support Arabic or Urdu?

Yes. Right-to-left paragraphs are detected automatically and set in IBM Plex Sans Arabic, and they stay correctly shaped in the PDF.

Is there a watermark or a page limit?

No. There is no watermark, no page limit and no sign-up.
