About the Social Media Image Resizer

Drop one photo and get a correctly sized copy for every platform you post on — Instagram post and story, Facebook cover, X header, LinkedIn banner, YouTube thumbnail, Pinterest pin, WhatsApp profile photo and more — downloaded together as one ZIP. Choose which part of the photo to keep, and everything runs in your browser.

How to use it

  1. Drop a photo into the box, paste it with Ctrl+V, or tap to choose one from your phone.
  2. Pick “Crop to fill” or “Fit inside”, and click the photo to set what stays in frame.
  3. Tick the sizes you need. Previews update instantly.
  4. Download each image, or all of them as one ZIP.

Tips

  • Use the focus grid to keep faces in frame: wide banners and tall stories crop very differently.
  • Choose “Fit inside” for logos or posters so nothing gets cut off.
  • JPG is best for photos; PNG keeps logos and text sharp.

Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The image is resized by your own browser using the Canvas API. Nothing is sent to our servers, which is why it also works on slow connections.

Does resizing remove location data (EXIF)?

Yes. The exported files are new images drawn from the pixels only, so GPS location, camera model and other EXIF metadata are not carried over.

Will the image be cropped?

With “Crop to fill” the image covers the whole frame and the edges outside the frame are cut. Choose which part to keep with the focus grid. With “Fit inside” nothing is cut and the empty space is filled with a blurred copy or a colour.
