How to use it

Tips
- Photos where the subject stands out from the background give the cleanest edges. Good light helps more than a high megapixel count.

Is it really free at full resolution?
Yes. Because the AI runs on your own device, a full-size result costs us nothing to make, so there are no credits, no paid HD download and no watermark.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The image is processed in your browser and never leaves your device; we keep no copies because we never receive it. The only download is the AI model itself, once, from this website. You can check: after your first photo, switch on airplane mode and remove another background. It still works.
Why do I have to download an AI model?
So your photo doesn’t have to be uploaded. Most background removers send your photo to their servers; here the AI comes to your device instead. It is saved in your browser, so it downloads only once, and you can delete it with “Delete AI model from this browser” under the result or on the privacy page.
Why does the first run take longer?
